Certification Requirements Show Answer
1. Attend and Participate in all class sessions and activities
2. Demonstrate competency in all required skills. No goggles will be allowed
3. Pass the final skills scenario
4. You must complete all four practice-teaching assignments during the Lifeguard Instructor Course.
5. Successfully pass the written final exam with an 80% or better

What to Bring to Class Show Answer
- Proof of Age
- Any Completed Blended Learning Online Coursework brought to first day of in-class session.
- Download Course Materials
- Bathing suit, towel, no bikinis allowed
- Pen or Pencil, paper for note taking
- CPR Mask if applicable to course
- Wear comfortable clothes; bring a light sweater in case of cooler weather
- Lunch or Lunch money if applicable
Refunds and Other Policies Show Answer
Refund Policy:
There are no refunds once the course has been registered for and payment has been received. Payment in full from the entire group must be received prior to the date of class.
Class Transfer:
There are no class transfer options for on-site group training. If our trainers travel to you, every student whom has signed up for the course is expected to be in attendance.
Cancelled Class:
The Swimming Swan LLC., reserves the right to cancel any classes at any time. If a class is cancelled, a full refund will be given OR students will be given the option to transfer classes to another date with no additional fees.
48 Hour New Student Enrollment:
No new students are allowed to enroll into a course within 48 hours of a course start date. There are no exceptions to this rule and the online coursework. must be completed prior to the first in-class session.
No Visitors:
Only registered students are allowed on the pool deck and/or in the classroom during class. All visitors must wait outside in the parking lot OR leave the premises until class is over for the day.
Blended Learning Internet Requirements:
Chrome is recommended when logging into the Blended Learning Course for your online course work. Do not use Internet Explorer. If you are using Safari or Firefox , you must go to your internet settings and turn off any popup blockers for the course to work correctly. You should use a laptop or desktop computer, we do not advise you use a cell phone to complete your online course work.
